Slide titles are often hard to see against a cluttered background. But here’s a great trick for making your slide title pop, even when the background is noisy. Thanks to Jan Schultink for suggesting this trick.

    This is one of my favorite tips for blending text with imagery and want to add one point: You do not necessarily need to create a secondary rectangle. You can apply the fill pattern to the text’s placeholder and use its margins and placement options to position the text. This technique is often preferable (and sometimes not) and is useful to know as an option.
